Careership

Careership vacancies will be available from Monday 14th April until Friday 25th April 2008.

Imagine a career as rewarding as it is inspiring: rich in variety and challenge, where your work makes a real difference to our delicate natural environment. Whether you're a school leaver or an established professional looking for a new, more fulfilling direction, the National Trust offers a new path. Joining us on our unique training programme, Careership, will put you firmly on the first step of your career with the Trust in gardening or wardening.

As Europe's largest environmental conservation charity, we protect some of the Nation's most precious countryside, coastline, landscaped parks and gardens, and historic properties across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our Careership programme develops the Gardeners and Countryside Wardens of the future to help keep these special places special, for everyone to enjoy.

As an employed trainee you'll be placed at inspiring National Trust properties where you'll learn practical skills to protect your local environment. You'll also spend time at college, gaining recognised qualifications and learning about traditional and modern conservation techniques as well as getting a firm grounding in the knowledge and skills it takes to be a warden or a gardener with the Trust.

Join us to build new skills while protecting our unique heritage. Take a look around our site to find out more.
